DISCLOSURES · EARLY ACCESS

Plain statements of how Tathata works. This page is not legal advice and will be reviewed before launch.
What Tathata is
Tathata is a gateway to open AI models served by Chutes, Bittensor subnet 64. Any connected wallet gets a small free daily allowance of chats and images. Holding $TTT or twTAO on Robinhood Chain, valued in US dollars, unlocks larger daily allowances. Tathata operates the compute account; you never provide an AI API key.
Tathata is software in early access. Features, allowances, tiers and supported models can change, pause or stop.
$TTT access is not an investment
$TTT is used to gate access to the service. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and no return, price or value is promised. Tokens can lose all value.
Access is checked before each request against the lower of your wallet's balance now and its balance 24 hours earlier, so tokens count once they have been held for a day. Allowances are request counts, not money, and they reset daily at 00:00 UTC. When the day's free network capacity is used up, requests are paid with your twTAO credits or refused.
twTAO credits
Buying credits means sending twTAO to the Tathata treasury. The transfer is final. Credits need a $TTT tier to claim and to spend, are recorded against your wallet, never expire while the service runs, and are spent only after your daily allowance or when free network capacity is full.
Requests accepted by the service may count even if generation is interrupted. Requests a provider explicitly rejects before generating are released.
The twTAO bridge is custodial
TAO sent to the vault on Bittensor EVM is held by a smart contract whose owner and relayer are operated by the Tathata team. A relayer key mints twTAO and releases TAO; the owner can pause both contracts and, while paused, withdraw reserves from the vault.
Reserves are public: the vault balance and the twTAO supply are shown on the twTAO page. Daily mint and release limits bound what can move in 24 hours. The contracts have not been audited.
Deposits are credited to the sending address. Do not send TAO to the vault from an exchange or from a contract you do not control on Robinhood Chain. Test with a small amount first.
What we store
The server stores wallet sessions, short-lived sign-in challenges, rate-limit counters, request metadata (wallet, a one-way hash of your IP address used to limit the free allowance, model, Chutes invocation id, status, token counts, reported cost, timing) and credit purchases (transaction hash, amount). It does not store prompts, responses or generated images.
Your conversations are encrypted in your browser. Clearing browser data deletes them unless you exported a password-protected backup.
What providers see
To answer you, your conversation context is sent to Chutes and processed by its miners. Local encryption is not end-to-end encryption of inference.
Subnet names and descriptions on the Subnets page come from on-chain identities set by subnet owners. They are not endorsements.
Proof of origin and its limits
Models marked TEE run inside hardware enclaves. For those models Tathata asks Chutes for fresh attestation evidence and checks three things: the evidence is signed by the enclave's key, the hash of that key is inside the Intel TDX quote, and the signed evidence contains a random nonce Tathata generated moments before. Tathata does not re-verify Intel's or NVIDIA's certificate chains; the raw evidence can be downloaded from any answer so you can run their verifiers yourself.
This shows that the model runs on genuine enclave hardware at the time of the check. It does not prove that a particular answer came from a particular miner: Chutes does not sign individual responses, and nothing is written to the Bittensor chain per message. The invocation id shown on an answer is Chutes' own reference for that request.
Availability
Tathata depends on Robinhood Chain, Bittensor, Chutes, public price feeds and Cloudflare. If any of them is unavailable, access checks fail closed and requests are refused rather than charged.
